Privacy Policy

Last updated 1 September 2026

This site collects one thing: your email address, and only if you type it into the waitlist box yourself. There are no cookies, no analytics, and no tracking of any kind.

Who is responsible for your data

Rugby Head Coach is an independent game in development, run by Dan Akenhead in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK data protection law, that is the data controller. You can reach us at hello@rugbyheadcoach.com.

What we collect, and why

What
Your email address. Nothing else — no name, no location, no device or browsing information.
When
Only when you submit the waitlist form. Reading this site collects nothing.
Why
To email you about the game: development progress, and when it is released.
Lawful basis
Consent. You gave it by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

No cookies, no analytics, no tracking

This site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel, no session recording, and no third-party script that watches what you do here. That is why you are not being asked to dismiss a cookie banner.

Who else can see it

Two service providers process your email address on our behalf, and only to provide their service:

Your address is never sold, rented, shared for advertising, or passed to anyone else. Some of these providers may process data outside the UK; where that happens it is covered by the safeguards in their standard data protection terms.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist has served its purpose and the game has been released for a reasonable period. If you unsubscribe, your address is deleted rather than kept on a suppression list.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to:

Email hello@rugbyheadcoach.com and we will action it. There is no charge, and we will respond within one month.

Complaints

If you think we have handled your data badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK's data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Changes to this policy

When the game itself is released it will handle more than an email address, and this policy will be extended to cover that before it happens. Any change will be dated at the top of this page, and anything significant will be emailed to the waitlist rather than quietly published.
